Topic 1 explores key concepts of Innovation and deep-dives into understanding your readiness level, to help you and your team build an environment for innovation.
Topic 2 involves exploring frameworks that shape mindsets and capability sets. We also identify constraints and disruptions and focus on strategies to enable and support innovation.
Here, you will explore your environment in more depth. We will guide you through a series of important tools and processes to understand your organisation, as well as customers and end users.
Topic 4 will connect many of the concepts explored in the course this far. You will then evaluate your business or strategy, to evaluate a current strategy, to launch a new enterprise, or to explore and create an innovation or product.
This topic gives you an insight into the importance and many faces of value in IT-enabled innovation. Here, we provide an understanding of the attributes of services that customers and end users value.
Topic 6 introduces you to the concept of data security and privacy and encourages you to explore the role of data security and privacy when progressing IT-enabled projects.
Topic 7 involves discovering the purpose of innovation in your context. We will introduce a model that shows three conceptual stages that link time and potential profit in terms of business strategy.
In Topic 8, we share insights about the role of innovation and how it fits into businesses. Discover the importance of taking a strategic view of change and innovation.
This final session allows you to wrap up your learning in the context of your work-based project, which you have been developing throughout the course. We will conclude with a summary of the key takeaways from the course.
